Refund policy

1) Summary

  • Exchanges: Standard (non-bespoke) designs may be exchanged within 7 days of delivery.
  • Made-to-order & custom: Final sale (including bespoke, customised and engraved pieces).
  • Earrings: Final sale for hygiene reasons (unless defective).
  • Complimentary ring resizing: Available within 60 days of delivery; multiple adjustments may be accommodated within that window (design limits apply).
  • Repairs: Complimentary case-by-case — manufacturing faults within 12 months are repaired complimentary after assessment; general wear/accidental damage at our discretion (labour complimentary where possible; parts & shipping at cost).

2) Exchanges (standard designs)

You may request an exchange within 7 days of delivery for standard, non-bespoke designs, provided the item is:

  • Unworn and undamaged
  • Returned in the original packaging, including accessories and documentation
  • Accompanied by the original proof of purchase
  • Returned with any security/tagging intact (if fitted)
  • Returned with any gem certificate supplied; where missing, a replacement fee may be charged at the issuing lab’s current rate

If the requested exchange item is unavailable, we may offer store credit (valid 12 months) or an alternative of similar value.

3) Complimentary ring resizing

We offer complimentary ring resizing within 60 days of delivery. Multiple adjustments within this window may be accommodated subject to design limits and workshop capacity. Most designs allow resizing within ±2 US sizes; some (e.g., full-eternity bands, certain pavé or tension settings) cannot be resized and may require remaking (chargeable). Complimentary resizing covers our workmanship; shipping, insurance and any duties/taxes are at your cost, unless the sizing error is ours, in which case we will cover reasonable shipping both ways.

5) Made-to-order, bespoke & customised items

Made-to-order pieces, bespoke designs, customised or engraved items are final sale and not eligible for cancellation, return or exchange unless defective.

6) Earrings (hygiene)

For hygiene and safety, pierced earrings are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective.

7) Manufacturing defects — what to do

We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery. If an issue arises that is our fault, we’ll make it right — we’ll arrange and cover the return to our workshop for inspection and complete the remedy. If the item arrives damaged or defective, notify us (info@byangi.com) within 7 days of delivery with:

  • ⁠Your order number
  • Clear photos/video of the issue
  • A brief description of what happened

We’ll guide you through returns authorisation (RMA) and inspection. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, our remedies are: repair or replacement (at our discretion).

Note: Reasonable craftsmanship tolerances (e.g., small variances in carat/weight/dimensions or colour differences between screens and real life) are not defects (see our Terms of Service).

8) How to start an exchange

Email info@byangi.com with your order number and request and we will assess if your order is illegible for a exchange. Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, you are responsible for return shipping costs and any duties/taxes. Items returned without an RMA may be refused.

9) Non-returnable items

  • Made-to-order, bespoke, customised and engraved pieces
  • Pierced earrings
  • Items showing wear, damage, alteration or third-party resizing
  • Items missing original packaging or documentation (including certificates)
  • Gift cards and items marked final sale
